Sony has announced its monthly free PS Plus games for October 2020. Last month’s titles were PUBG and Street Fighter V but PlayStation 4 owners with PlayStation Plus membership will be getting Need for Speed: Payback and Vampyr for October.
Need for Speed: Payback
The Need for Speed series needs no introduction for game lovers. In Payback, you survive thrilling heist missions, partake in metal-crunching car battles, perform dazzling setpieces and more. The game is set in the fictional Fortune Valley world where gamblers attempt to outsmart each other. There are three characters for you to choose from with each having their own unique skills. Like in every other Need for Speed game, you can also customize cars in Payback and compete in events and racing tournaments.
Vampyr
Set in 1918, Vampyr is a third-person action RPG with deep narrative choices. You “play a doctor turned vampire ghosting through a London gripped by violence and fear. Use your supernatural abilities, as well as man-made tools and weapons to fight or flee the forces of evil and vampire hunters. Save the city’s populace or feed on them to become stronger, but giving in to your bloodlust can have grave consequences…”
Both games will be available for download from Tuesday, October 6 till Monday, November 2. September titles are still up for grabs till October 5. Remember, you only need to add the games to your library; you can always download any time.
