Nokia is expected to unveil a couple of smartphones worldwide in the coming months, including Nokia 8 Pro. Earlier rumoured to be launched as Nokia 10, the upcoming Nokia device could get its place at the retail shelves in the third quarter of 2018. However, no exact release date is announced.
Today, we get our hands on the spec sheet of the Nokia 8 Pro. Going by the leaked spec sheet, Nokia 8 Pro would be equipped with a 6.01-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Rumours, in the past, hint it to have a bezel-less display.
Inside, the phone would be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest chipset, Snapdragon 845. To provide seamless performance, Nokia 8 Pro will arrive in two different variants – 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM. Two storage options – 64GB and 128GB would be added. The device will run on Android latest Operating System, Android Oreo.
The main highlight of the phone resides on the rear side of the phone. Yes. The phone is speculated to be first of its kind to have a rotating Zoom camera technology from Zeiss. It is expected that the rear camera setup might house a secondary lens, which can be rotated for adjusting the focal length.
On the front, a 13-megapixel selfie snapper could be installed. To be your daily driver, it would be backed a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
Wireless charging could be added considering it to be wrapped by a metal-glass combo. In previous leaks, it was showed that the fingerprint scanner will be fitted below the rear camera setup.
Update: As per the latest leaked renders from Tiger Mobiles this device will be called the Nokia 9 Pureview and should fix some of the shortcomings of the Nokia 8 Sirocco.
