After regaining the live-action rights and bringing some of its biggest shows running on Netflix to Disney Plus, Marvel is reviving the Daredevil series with the launch of a new 18-episode live-action show debuting in 2024. During its Comic-Con event on Sunday, Marvel announced Daredevil: Born Again coming to Disney Plus in Spring 2024, and it would see Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their roles as Daredevil and Kingpin.
In May, Variety reported that Marvel was working on a new Daredevil series and that the company had hired Matt Corman and Chris Ord to write and produce it. After the agreement with Marvel ended, all Marvel series on Netflix, including The Punisher and Jessica Jones were moved to Disney Plus. Last year, Vincent D’Onofrio, who will once again continue his Kingpin role in the new Daredevil series, made an appearance on Marvel’s Hawkeye series.
Marvel also debuted trailers for the upcoming series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and I Am Groot.
