Ahead of its October 20th release on the PlayStation 5, Sony has released a new State of Play trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 giving a first look at the newly expanded Marvel’s New York and more gameplay information.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming with new locations, updated exploration, faster and more exciting traversal, near-instant switching between heroes, and many more exciting features.

According to Insomniac Games, the size of New York has been nearly doubled in the game which means “even faster traversal options such as the Web Wings, which can be combined with traditional web swinging to move at exhilarating speeds.”

In the open-world gameplay, players can play as the two action heroes – Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Thanks to the power of the PlayStation 5, the switch between the two heroes is “near-instantly”. Peter Parker and Miles Morales will have their own separate side quests in Marvel’s expanded New York.

The game features 65 suits and more than 200 ways to customise them. Those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game will have access to 10 exclusive suits, additional Photo Mode items, and 2 Skill Points.
