Marvel’s Wolverine Gets New Trailer – Arrives on PS5 Fall 2026

Marvel's Wolverine

Marvel’s Wolverine is arriving on PS5 consoles in the Fall of 2026. Developer Insomniac Games showcased a new gameplay trailer for the game at PlayStation’s latest State of Play on Wednesday.

The new gameplay trailer is very violent and contains a lot of gore, as expected for a Wolverine game. Australian actor Liam McIntyre, who is best known for playing Spartacus in the Starz television series, is Insomniac’s Wolverine, AKA Logan.

Marvel’s Wolverine was first announced in 2021, alongside Spider-Man 2, which was released in 2023. Insomniac Games suffered a massive leak in 2023, which included development footage of the upcoming Wolverine game.

“In this story, he is on the hunt to uncover the secrets of a dark past that keeps eluding him, Insomniac Games’ Aaron Jason Espinoza wrote in a PlayStation blog post. “Unfortunately, in this world, he’ll have to dig his claws deep to pull any shred of information that may lead to answers. Often, that means shredding into a relentless onslaught of enemies who aim to stop him by any means necessary. Fueled by unflinching resilience (and a rapid healing factor), Wolverine won’t go down easy if it means keeping the mission on task.”

In the trailer, Wolverine’s quest will lead him to various locations across the world, including the island nation of Madripoor, the frosted wilderness of Canada, and the narrow city streets of Tokyo.
