Instagram is giving users more ways to express themselves creatively with new text tools and animations. As part of the new update, users can now add text and stickers to photos and carousels, and select new fonts and animation effects in reels and stories.
Previously, users had to use a separate app to add text to their photos before posting on Instagram. With this new update, texts can now be added to photos in the editor after selecting a photo from the gallery. There is now a new text tool that appears on the text button when you select a photo. You can also layer additional images by tapping the gallery button in the top right corner of your screen. You can also change the sticker shape from rectangle to square, circle, heart or star.
When uploading reels and stories, you will now have new fonts, animations and effects in the text menu. Based on your style, you can now select new effects and animations to communicate with your audience.
The new updates are in addition to the recent ones introduced by Instagram which include the ability to share up to 20 photos and videos in a carousel post, and a new Myspace-like feature that lets you add a song to your profile.
