The Chinese tech company, Huawei has launched a new phone the Huawei Y5 Lite. This device comes as the second Huawei product to run on Android Go Edition. The Y3 (2018) was the first to run on the software.

The Huawei Y5 has a body made from metal and plastic. It has the usual bar shape associated with most phones in the market today. The Y5 Lite has a width of 70.9mm and weighs 142g. It also features a length of 146.5mm.

A vertically positioned single camera setup lies at the back panel of the phone. An LED flash lies beside the camera’s assembly. However, unlike most phones today, the Y5 does not have a fingerprint sensor at the same location.

The Huawei Y5 Lite has a RAM size of 1GB and internal storage of 16GB. You can extend this space to 128GB via its MicroSD slot. The device has dual slots to support Nano SIMs.

The Huawei Y5 Lite features the Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) wrapped with Huawei’s proprietary EMUI 8.

The Huawei Y5 Lite will cost buyers in Pakistan for $116 for the single model with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
