Chinese tech giant, Huawei Technologies has announced the Huawei Y7 Pro. This announcement comes on the heels of the launch of the Huawei P Smart (2019). Although both phones share some features, the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) stands as a cheaper alternative.

Some of the features on this smartphone includes a large display, a decent chipset and the absence of a fingerprint sensor. The product also comes with a battery of massive capacity. Here are the key specifications of the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019).

Huawei Y7 Pro (2019): Design and Display

The Huawei Y7 has polycarbonate build which gives it the usual look of most smartphones from the brand. It also has a bar-shaped look.

The smartphone has a width of 76.9mm and a length of 158.9mm. It also weighs 168g.

Concerning its display, the phone has a 6.26-inch screen with a notch at the top of it. The notch houses the selfie camera. The screen has a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and a screen to body ratio of 80%.

Behind the phone lies vertically placed dual camera setup with an LED flash underneath.

Unlike most phones today, the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) does not have a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. Instead, the phone will be opened via basic facial unlock.

The Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) has a memory of 3G RAM and internal storage of 32GB. The internal storage can be expanded via MicroSD card to a size of 512GB.

This smartphone runs on Andriod 8.1 (Oreo) with Huawei’s Emotion U1 8.2.
