There is a bit of good news as GTBank has now increased the monthly spending limit on the GTBank Naira MasterCard to $1000 for international payments, it was previously $100.
I received an email yesterday confirming this. This will be a breath of fresh air for those who were forced to limit the monthly transaction on their GTBank Naira MasterCard to $100. Since the government enforced the $100 limit, the only way for people to spend Dollars freely was to open a domiciliary account and getting a dollar card.
There has been an increase in the number of domiciliary accounts opened with GTBank since then but with the restriction on international spending now raised to $1000 people can be happy to use their GTBank Naira MasterCard again.
