Google is bringing its cloud gaming service, Stadia to iOS soon in what will be a web app. Google’s Stadia is a year old and the service has been available to Android users since it was launched. Apple says apps like Stadia violates its App Store policy just like Microsoft’s xCloud.
Google is expected to begin public testing several weeks from now so it could work on a progressive web app for iOS users. Microsoft is working on a similar web-based solution as well which will make its xCloud gaming service available on iOS.
Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 launches December 10th and it will be available on Google Stadia. Those who pre-order on Stadia are eligible for free Stadia Premiere Edition — the bundle that includes a Google Chromecast Ultra and a Stadia controller for playing on a TV.
