June is looking to be a great month for PlayStation owners and fans. Sony is expected to do a PS5 reveal and Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 comes out June 19. In a tweet today, the official PlayStation account announced Call of Duty: WWII will be amongst the June 2020 PS Plus free games.
Call of Duty: World War 2 is arguably the best Call of Duty game ever. It was released in 2017 and it was the highest-grossing console game that year in North America generating over $1 billion in revenue.
Like all Call of Duty games, there is a Campaign and Multiplayer. It has a Nazi Zombies mode which is cooperative gameplay mode. World War 2 removes the advanced system of movement such as double jumping and wall running present in older Call of Duty games, it brings back the traditional gameplay controls and movements.
Call of Duty: WWII is available for download to PS Plus subscribers starting May 26. Sony promises to share the other free June 2020 PS Plus free game later this week.
The second game has now been revealed to be Star Wars Battlefront II. This will be available for download from June 2.
Last month’s lineup is still available for download until Monday, June 1.
