It’s official, the iPhone 14 will be launched on September 7th alongside other hardware products. Apple today announced the “Far out” in an invitation it sent to journalists. The event will be in-person at the Steve Jobs Theatre, ending the series of virtual events the company adopted when the pandemic started. The event, which will commence 10AM PT / 1PM ET will also be broadcasted live online.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, not only will Apple unveil the new iPhone 14 phones, which will be the main attraction, but the company will also announce other hardware, including three Apple Watch models. Apple is expected to announce four new iPhones – a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Pro line will feature the biggest upgrades in the camera department, processor and battery life.

Besides the new iPhone 14 models, Apple will announce new wearables, and the Apple Watch Series 8 will reportedly have a new Pro model with a bigger display and titanium case. The Series 8 watch lineup could also come with a new body temperature sensor which will alert its users when they have a fever.

We might see a refresh of the AirPods Pro, but Apple is not expected to announce new iPad models and MacBook Pro versions powered with M2 processors later this year.
