TECNO announced the Camon 15 and Camon 15 Premier in Nigeria back in April, adding to the lineup of its Camon series. It’s not news these smartphones are camera-centric and the new Camon smartphones are sure to get you those stunning pictures.
I got my hands on the Camon 15 and here is my unboxing and first impression of TECNO’s latest Camon device.

Camon 15 Unboxing – Looking at the Device
I got the dark jade colour and looking at the back of the device is the new quad-camera setup which is made up of a 48MP main camera with super HDR and AI scene detection, a 2MP AI bokeh lens for portrait shots, another 2MP lens for macro shots and a TAIVOS ultra night lens. The fingerprint scanner is also positioned at the back of the device.

The protective pouch is pretty transparent and this is the same for all TECNO packaging.

TECNO is sticking to the 3.55mm audio jack and it remains to be seen if they will make a phone without it one day. The microphone, regular USB port and the speaker grill all take their positions underneath the smartphone.

At the side of the smartphone is SIM card slot featuring two Nano-SIMs and the SD card slot.

The other side has the volume and power buttons, pretty standard for a TECNO smartphone.

Lastly is the power adapter; no 30W fast charge on this.
First Impressions of the Camon 15
The device feels sturdy and very neat. I’m also impressed with the quad rear camera setup. Every year, TECNO improves its smartphones and this is no exception.
You can grab the Camon 15 in stores around you for a pretty decent N62,500.
