Web browsers aren’t really meant to be fancy to the eyes as long as they can do the job of opening web pages, the best we’ve come close to having a fancy one has been Google Chrome with its smooth feature and outlook. Microsoft debuted the Edge browser on its Windows 10 OS but only few people really use it. Opera has decided to change the game by releasing a new browser called Opera Neon, a concept browser.

Opera Neon is truly a modern browser with so much fluidity and a minimalist UI. When using the browser, you will still be able to see your desktop wallpaper as a transparent background.

Features of Opera Neon

Some of the interesting features of the browser includes: a video pop-out and player, split screen mode which allows browsing of two web pages at a time by sampling dragging the visual tabs either left or right. There is also the snap to gallery features which allows you to a gallery tab in the browser, saved images are labelled with its web addresses so you can open the source pages at any time. Other features includes the visual tabs and gravity.

So we decided to try out the browser and this was what we got.

Truly impressive.

How to Download the Browser

The Neon browser concept is available for download here for Windows and Mac at Opera’s website. It is currently at its experimental stage so you may experience some bugs but it’s totally worth it.
