If you thought the Hot 50 Pro+ was one of the world’s thinnest smartphones ever, well, Infinix is pushing the boundaries even higher with the release of its upcoming Hot 60 series. Infinix is reportedly going head-to-head with Samsung’s recently released Galaxy S25 Edge for the title of the “thinnest curved screen smartphone.”

According to a video shared on X by popular leaker Ice Universe, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ is 5.95mm thin, only 0.15mm thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which is 5.8mm thick. When measured on a scale, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ weighs 154.6g, which is considerably lighter compared to 163.8g for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, setting a new standard for ultra-thin smartphones.
Not just Samsung, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ holds its own against regular iPhones, even though the upcoming smartphone is expected to be cheaper than them. GSM Arena reports that Apple is gearing up to release its ultra-thin smartphone with the release of the iPhone 17 Air, setting up an interesting battle that many did not expect.

As per its expected specifications, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ will reportedly pack a “massive battery.” This is an interesting claim because the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge could only house a battery with a 3,900mAh capacity at its 5.8mm thickness. The Infinix Hot 50 Pro+, which is 6.8mm thick, houses a 5,000mAh battery. If the claim is valid, the Infinix would have to adopt a high-density battery technology with silicon carbon that can fit inside the Hot 60 Pro+.

The Hot 60 Pro+ is expected to come in a 4G and 5G variant with a Helio G200 chip and a Dimensity 7xxx series chip, respectively. The smartphone will reportedly come in two memory configurations – a 256GB with 8/12GB RAM and a higher-end 512GB with 8/12GB RAM option.
There is no word on the pricing or release date yet, but Infinix is expected to ramp up anticipation as the release date draws nearer.
