The Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection adds a nice layer of protection for the phone and gives the user peace of mind.
Day-to-Day Performance
Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 (6 nm) chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and storage of 128GB. For daily tasks from browsing social media to juggling multiple apps, the phone feels remarkably smooth and responsive. The phone comes with 11 layers of thermal materials and an ultra-thin vapor chamber that ensures heat is dissipated, ensuring it remains cool and performance is stable while playing games. The phone might not be the top choice for heavy gaming, but it still manages to deliver a smooth experience without overheating.
When I was playing PUBG, I noticed the aiming was incredibly precise. That’s because the phone has a built-in hardware gyroscope, which makes the gaming controls very accurate.
Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ runs on Infinix’s XOS 15.1 based on Android 15, which offers a clean and intuitive user experience. It also has some AI functionalities that are very important for daily usage. There is a dedicated “One-Tap AI Button” that provides quick access to features like AI summarization for web pages, AI call translation, and even Google’s “Circle to Search,” making everyday tasks more intuitive. Google’s “Circle to Search on the Infinix device does what it says: the Circle it, Search it AI feature on the Infinix device lets me search for anything on the phone’s screen with a simple gesture, without having to switch between apps.
