Apple is holding its annual iPhone fall event on Tuesday, September 9. The event tagged “Awe-dropping” will take place at the Steve Jobs theatre in Cupertino, California, and will start at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup and some other devices.
As usual, a base model iPhone 17 is expected to be launched, alongside two Pro models. There are rumours that last year’s Plus model could be replaced with a thin iPhone 17 Air model. According to leaks and speculations, the new iPhone 17 Air will reportedly be ultra-light and ultra-thin, with a thickness of 5.5mm.
The regular iPhone 17 will reportedly feature a new and bigger 6.3-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is better than the 60Hz on last year’s iPhone 16. Other hardware devices expected to be launched include the Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3. Apple might also unveil a new AirPods Pro 3; the AirPods Pro 2 was released in 2022. We may also see the launch of additional accessories.
The event will be pre-recorded at the Steve Jobs theatre, but you can stream it on Apple.com, on the Apple TV app, and on the official Apple YouTube channel.
