Stray is heading to the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles on 10th August. Developer Annapurna Interactive announced this at its showcase event last Thursday.
The enjoyable cyberpunk cat simulation was originally released on PlayStation and PC last July. Stray had positive reviews and was the third most nominated game at the 2022 Game Awards taking home the prize for the Best Debut Indie title.
In the announcement trailer shared by Annapurna Interactive, the game’s protagonist, Gato, the cat, paws an Xbox controller off a table as his owner watchers on while the Xbox logo pops up on the TV screen.
In Stray, Gato is alone, lost and separated from his family. The player is tasked with using Gato to untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity to find its way home.
