The 2017 Honda Civic Type R was unveiled today at the Geneva auto show in Switzerland and it’s expected to get to Japan and the US very soon. The new Honda Civic comes with an improved 2.0 ltr Vtec Turbo engine at a torque rate of 400Nm and 320PS.
The 2017 Honda Civic Type R also spots a much more aesthetic design than the previously made Type R. It has a sleek rugged body which supports more stability at an incredibly high speed. It has flare fenders, enhanced break cooling systems, gaping air inlets and much more.
It comes in three drive modes. Based on the mode chosen out of Comfort, Sport and +R, the Honda Civic adapts its control system, gear and transmission to suit the selected drive mode.
Launch and Availability of the 2017 Honda Civic Type R
The 2017 Honda Civic is expected to be on sale around the world very soon. It will be sold in Europe and America. No price has been revealed but it is expected to go for around $30,000 in America.
