If you often use Windows keyboard shortcut, you must have known that pressing Windows key + L will lock your computer. This key combination ensures no intruder access your device while you are away. Now Microsoft is trying to automate this process on Windows 10 by planning to roll out a feature update to the OS.
The feature called Dynamic lock would allow computers to detect the presence of a user and also automatically lock the computer when the user moves away. The feature will be working like motion detection doors that automatically open and close on detecting movement. But no, dynamic lock wouldn’t shut down and close your computer lid for you; it would only lock the computer’s screen while you are away.
Microsoft currently uses a feature called Windows Hello cameras to make users login to their PC with their face. And It is reported that dynamic lock will be using a technology related to the Hello cameras.
For you to enjoy this feature, you must upgrade to Windows 10 and wait till April when Windows 10 Creators Update will deliver this feature.
