Recently, TECNO Mobile revealed its plans to drop the Tecno Spark 4 Lite. Seen as a variant of the Spark 4, this smartphone comes with several features that remind us of the Spark 4 Air. It also comes as a device that will attract a large following of users.

TECNO Spark 4 Lite Design and Display

Like most devices today, the Spark 4 Lite features a teardrop notch on its front panel. However, the cutout lies on a 6.52-inch LCD with slim narrow bezels and a thick chin. Moreover, this screen displays graphics at 720 x 1600 pixels.

The rear panel hosts a single camera with an LED flash. If you move a few inches, you will find a centrally placed fingerprint scanner.

Moving around with this smartphone will not come as a burden to consumers. After all, it’s portable and has a suitable width.

You can get this device in two vibrant colours- Vacation Blue and Hilier Purple. It also comes in Midnight Black.

On this smartphone, TECNO offers a basic camera setup. For instance, the notch houses a single 8MP camera that comes with a LED flash. It also offers HDR, shoots 1080 videos @30fps and supports FaceID/AI Beauty

The main camera also has an 8MP sensor. However, it has some of the above features coupled with Panorama. It also shoots 1080p videos at 30ps

The Spark 4 Lite runs on a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset. Here, a quad-core processor clocks at 1.8GHz while boasting of a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.

In terms of internal storage, the device offers 32GB. However, you can increase this capacity via its dedicated MicroSD slot. As for the RAM, you will have to work with 2GB worth of space.

The Spark 4 Lite uses Android 9 Pie coupled with TECNO’s in-house skin – the HIOS 5.5. Overall, the phone should handle most of the work thrown at it.

Battery and Connectivity

A sturdy non-removable battery 4,000mAh cell supplies power to the Spark 4 Lite. With normal usage, it should last you throughout the day. However, it might require a long period for refills as it does not have fast charging features.

The smartphone promises regular connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, and WiFi Hotspot. It also has GPS and a MicroUSB port for data transfer and charging. Finally, the device has an FM radio and 4G connectivity.
