Sony Xperia XZ Premium Price/Specifications was one of the spotlights of the just concluded Mobile World Congress. And as its name tells, it is the premium version of the Sony Xperia XZs, and comes with more advanced features. However the phone still shares some features, to mention as a few, like 64GB internal memory, 4GB RAM, 19MP back camera, and 13MP front camera with the Xperia XZs.
The processor and Android version of both phones are the same too, but Xperia XZ Premium graphics processor is better: Xperia XZ Premium runs on Adreno 540 while Xperia XZs runs Adreno 530. A striking thing in the design of Sony Xperia XZ Premium is that both its front and back are covered by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5, giving a mirror effect.
The screen of the phone measures 5.46 inches, with a capacity to display 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution at the rate of 807PPI. Sony Xperia XZ Premium’s body measures 156 x 77 x 7.9 mm and weighs 195g.
The phone is certified for IP65/68 dust and water resistant, and that makes the phone capable of staying 1.5 meter below water surface for 30 minutes. Using the phone in the rain or cleaning it with wet clothes should pose a problem to the phone. Like its Xperia XZs counterpart, it is expected to arrive in global market in April 2017.
