Some days ago, Oppo teased a mysterious device, which it calls “the latest tech at an incredible price. Having now made an appearance on Flipkart, it can also be confirmed the device comes with a UD fingerprint scanner.

This smartphone, Oppo K1 has a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 660 chipset which works with 4GB RAM and 64GB worth of internal storage. This device will be in the hands of intending buyers for the ideal price of $235.
This news comes as a surprise as we had expected to see the Oppo F11/F11 Pro midrange or the R17 Neo. Instead, the phone-maker decided to drop the K1. Apart from the features mentioned above, the phone’s display has a Full HD+ screen with a teardrop notch. This notch houses a 25MP front facing camera while the back panel has a 16MP rear camera with a 2MP depth sensor.
The K1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo wrapped with Oppo’s ColorOS 5.2 skin. A 3,600mAh battery which charges at the usual 10W powers the device. A micro USB port handles charging and mass storage functions. Connectivity options on the device include Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 ac and dual SIM.
Although the phone has four colours options, buyers in India can get only two- the Piano Black and the gradient Van Gogh Blue.
In India, the phone will be available on
