Motorola One Set to Launch in US Markets on November 11 for $399

Motorola One specs

In the coming days, US customers will be able to purchase Motorola One, the phone maker announced yesterday.  The brand, which was formerly owned by Google and currently by Lenovo, has confirmed that the mobile device is billed to hit US stores on November 11 for $399. This is coming on the heels of the successful launch of the Android One phone in global markets, where it costs €299.

It can be pre-ordered on BestBuy on Friday, November 9th. However, the black version will be exclusively available for purchase online, while the white variant will be offered for sale in brick-and-mortar stores.

The Motorola One is an unlocked phone that is powered by GSM technology. Thus, you will be able to make use of it with cellular networks, such as T-Mobile and AT&T, in addition to their prepaid sub-divisions, Cricket Wireless and Metro. The duo of Verizon and Sprint networks employ another technology, known as CDMA. (This doesn’t support GSM phones.)

The Android One program was initially designed for the launch of entry-level handsets in developing countries. It ultimately metamorphosed into a mobile initiative of US-headquartered Google for a number of smartphones — Nokia 7.1; LG G7 One, Motorola One; Motorola One Power; etc. — that run out-of-the-box Android OS. These phones receive the latest updates of the OS significantly faster than others.

The Motorola One promises an elegant Max Vision display with its expansive 5.9-inch notched HD screen and 19:9 aspect ratio. It packs a 13-megapixel dual smart camera set-up, along with an 8-megapixel secondary (selfie) shooter. By using its AI-powered Google Lens, you will be able to connect with the world around you with the phone camera.

Powered by a 2.0-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core CPU, you can look forward to fast and instant multitasking and exceptionally great performance. Equipped with a 3000-mAh battery, Motorola guarantees you quality battery life.

Motorola is planning to release Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Play as well as Moto G7 Power, all under the Moto G7 family of phones in 2019. At the moment, there are leaks and specifications about the Moto G7 on the Internet, where techies rave about a number of exciting features of this next iteration, including a water-drop notch, a larger 6.4” display, an Octa-core processor, 3500-mAh battery, and the latest version of the Android OS. No information, however, has been reported about the specs of other Moto G7 devices as of yet.
