When we think of a laptop, we think of a portable computer transmitting images from the motherboard to ONE screen through the display flex. However, Razer Inc., a U.S. based PC hardware maker, has changed how we think of laptop by designing a new laptop with 3 screens.
Razer specializes in designing of hardware for gamers, and this 3 screen laptop is a bold step by the company to make its customers do more with gaming. A prototype of the laptop, named Project Valerie, was exhibited at the on going CES trade show.
Each screen on the Project Valerie prototype laptop measures about 17.3 inches and supports 4K display, making it possible for it to display a continuous image at a time in a total of 12K viewing space. Power by NVIDIA’s surround view technology, the screens work together to provide 180-degree view experience by spreading a single image on the laptop’s multiple screens.
Other important specifications like the RAM and Memory of the laptop are yet to be declared, but Velerie is 1.5 inches thick, weigh less than 20 pounds and can be used with VR headsets including HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
