HTC has just unveiled its latest flagship smartphone and it’s said to be the world’s first Squeezable” smartphone. You may be wondering how a phone can be squeezable, but the HTC U11 comes with an Edge Sense technology which makes the edges of the device pressure-sensitive; these edges allows users to squeeze and in turn launch applications from the home screen.
HTC used to be among the top smartphone makers but they got left behind; releasing the U11 is surely an impressive way to make a grand comeback.
Specifications, Design and Display of the HTC U11
The HTC U11 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and is available in five different colours – Sapphire Blue, Amazing Silver, Brilliant Black, Solar Red and Ice White. The smartphone has a curved all-glass body with a shining glossy look. It has a home button below the screen which is embedded with a fingerprint sensor like the recently released One Plus 5.
In terms of display, the HTC U11 has a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a 4GB RAM and a 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD card.
On the image fronting, it has a 16MP front camera for taking selfies and a 12MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, super-fast Autofocus and HDR technology for taking crystal clear images from different angles. Like recently released flagships, the HTC U11 camera supports 4K video recording.
