WhatsApp is releasing new features and design updates to improve the user experience. The Meta-owned platform is introducing quicker reactions, camera effects and selfie stickers to make the instant messaging app more fun and easier to use.

Out of the new features WhatsApp is rolling out, quicker reactions might be the most useful and popular. With the latest update, users can double-tap messages to create a pop-up of their most-used reactions. This feature lets users have their favourite responses in one place instead of scrolling through many emojis.

WhatsApp is also introducing selfie stickers. To create custom selfie stickers, users have to tap the sticker on Create a sticker, which will bring out the camera option for a selfie, which can be turned into a sticker. This feature is available on Android and is coming to iOS users “soon,” WhatsApp says. You can now easily share a sticker pack directly with your friends in chats.

Lastly is the camera effects feature. WhatsApp first introduced effects on video calls last year. When photos or videos are sent in chats, users can choose from the same 30 backgrounds, filters and effects to transform their shots.
