Rockstar Games has announced that an “extended look” of its highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, August 27 at 3 PM ET. This will be the third trailer since the second trailer was released more than a year ago in May 2025.
Rockstar added that the extended look will also be available on its official YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI website, but only six hours after it has already premiered on Netflix, at 9 PM ET.
Taking the extended look of a game to Netflix is something Rockstar has never done before. It, however, represents how massive the upcoming GTA VI will be. Fans have been crying out for a gameplay showcase, and it seems the extended look might deliver just that, with the game set to launch this November. There is no additional information from Rockstar about how long the premiere will last or what to expect, but the teaser has certainly increased anticipation for the game.
In other time zones, the extended look premiere on Netflix will take place at 12 PM PT / 8 PM BST / 9 PM CEST. For the later release on the Rockstar YouTube channel and official Grand Theft Auto VI website, it will launch at 6 PM ET / 2 AM BST (28th) / 3 AM CEST (28th).
