Google Docs is introducing 40 new templates with “high-quality, visually modern designs” to make your documents professional and appealing. The new templates are pageless, including options for blog posts, press releases, business proposals, journals, a project roadmap, and many more.
The new templates bring new features that make your documents effective, such as document tabs for better organisation and placeholder chips that make it easy for you and your collaborators to add data, building blocks, pre-set layouts and various styles.

The new templates can be accessed via the “Templates” button at the top of a newly created document or from an already opened document by going to File > New > From template gallery.
Google began a gradual rollout of the new templates on Tuesday, and it might take up to 15 days for the features to appear. It is available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and everyone with personal Google accounts.
